Japan: The good, the bad, the ugly and everything in between when it comes to being a foreigner in Tokyo.

Home At Last

I finally made it home to the states- my first trip in 2 whole years! I was overwhelmed and yet so comfortable right away... how nice it is to be in a place where you understand your surroundings and have friends and family to greet you warmly. Maybe one day when I'm not living in Japan anymore I'll come back to visit and feel that way about this place. Maybe! ;)

Anyway, here are the pics of the homeland- Melissa's BEAUTIFUL wedding and all the fun I could possibly cram into 10 days.

The Fam in SF. Everyone says we look exactly the same. Really?! Now, all good-looking, this is true. ;)

Chris and I at the Mariners game at Safeco Field in Seattle. They won! (and, yes, for all my Japanese readers: I saw Ichiro! haha)

5 college friends+ Bridesmaids+ Dancing at the reception= Good times.

The ladies and the groom.

Me and the beautiful bride. So lucky to know this girl. The trip was worth every penny and I'm really glad I got a much-needed break from Nihon. I mean, I love this place... but we all know there's no place like home!

Love you all,
C
